Does Royale International offer temperature-controlled medical courier services in South Africa?
Yes. Royale International provides temperature-controlled medical and pharmaceutical courier services across South Africa and internationally, covering the full cold chain — from cryogenic (−196°C to −150°C) and dry ice, through frozen and refrigerated (+2°C to +8°C), to controlled room temperature (+15°C to +25°C). Shipments are handled point-to-point for both export from and import into South Africa.
Is Royale International GDP accredited?
Yes. Royale International (South African Courier Systems (Pty) Ltd) is GDP-accredited, independently audited and certified by DQS to the EU Good Distribution Practice guidelines (2013/C 343/01) and WHO GDP standards (Technical Report Series No. 957, Annex 5). Shipment handling follows documented Standard Operating Procedures with full chain-of-custody, covering transport and warehousing of healthcare products from −196°C to +25°C.
What types of medical and pharmaceutical shipments can you transport?
Royale International handles clinical-trial materials (Phases 1–3), blood samples, stem cells, biospecimens, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), medical samples and specimens, and temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products — directly in South Africa, for both import and export. Each shipment is matched to the correct temperature tier and handled under GDP procedures.
What temperature ranges can you maintain during transport?
Royale International offers the full cold-chain range: Cryogenic (−196°C to −150°C, liquid nitrogen), Dry Ice (−80°C to −20°C), Frozen (−25°C to −15°C), Refrigerated (+2°C to +8°C) and Controlled Room Temperature (+15°C to +25°C). All five ranges are available for both export from and import into South Africa.
